    Proyecto Latin@ Year One -- Exploratory Research

    Report on the findings from the exploratory research phase of Proyecto Latino. The study focused on the experiences of Latin American students in Toronto District School Board high schools. Report focuses on four themes: Language and Culture; Social Class; Racism and Stereotypes; and Adult Relationships. The final sections summarizes the suggestions from students for improving school engagement in schools.

    The Report includes portraits of five specialized arts programs in Toronto public high schools. It provides and introduction with a brief review of the literature and a description of the research. The conclusion outlines the implications of the research as well as provides ideas for future research.
