Abstract
N. K. was born and raised in Greece, spent two years (1952-1954) in Africa, and lived in Montreal, Canada, from 1956 to 1970, the year of his premature death. K. is one of the most idiosyncratic prose writers of his generation, with a suggestive style of writing which one can compare to chamber music. He wrote most of his novellas in Greek but tried his hand at writing in English as well: poems, a short narrative, and other occasional pieces.
