Foreign Ministers Meetings

The G8 Foreign Ministers have met annually in the fall, since 1984, in New York, around the time of the opening of the UN General Assembly. No documents are released by these meetings. Starting in 1998, the Foreign Ministers have met about a week prior to the leaders' Summit and have also met several times to deal with major issues such as the Kosovo crisis.
