2 men at /Du/da waterhole (almost dry)in winter of 1968 (see related photo of people waiting turn on surface)

Abstract

Description

The reason the large village at /Du/da with 120 people were relying on such a small waterhole was that the South West African border patrol had asked them to remain close to the border and informally patrol the sector. The camp was on the SWA side and the waterhole on the Botswana side.
