Description

Accomplished guitarist and singer-songwriter Mike Ford has brought his love of Canadian history and geography into his songs and his classroom workshop series. Shand enthusiastically describes observing Ford in several class sessions, remarking on his ability to entrance children of a variety of ages with material drawn from his latest album Canada Needs You, Volume One. She encourages teachers to explore Ford’s music and to bring him into their classrooms.
