Abstract

Description

A report on an ongoing research project investigating the use of Canadian music and other Canadian music curricular materials in elementary and secondary schools. The research project, sponsored by the John Adaskin Project and the University of Toronto Canadian Music Education Research Centre, has analyzed the Canadian content of music curriculum documents published by provincial ministries of education and by Ontario boards of education, and has collected data from teachers across Canada related to their use of Canadian music and other Canadian music curricular materials.
