Godin Period VI Proveniences

Abstract

This document is a list of all oplots (operation and lot, the basic unit of recording at Godin Tepe) for Godin Period VI. It provides the context and phase of each lot for each operation (square or test trench). All artifacts excavated after the middle of the 1969 season (i.e. all Godin Period VI contexts) are labeled with the operation and lot (oplot) numbers. Whenever possible, the artifacts listed in the main objects list (to be found in the “Artifacts List” collection in the Godin Tepe TSpace community) are assigned to one of these oplots. The location and nature of the find spot at the site can be traced through these provenience lists. This dataset is protected by Canada’s Copyright Act, and by similar laws in other countries.
