Abstract
Description
In this article Shand notes that there has never been an ISME regional conference for
North America. She presents several questions that jumpstarted the work of the North American Regional Planning Seminar as a preliminary event which allowed for the
networking and discussion that might enable a future ISME North American regional
conference. She discusses the work of the Regional Planning Seminar and invites
suggestions from CMEA members “about issues in North American music education which might be considered at a future regional conference.”
