Abstract
This article presents an empirical analysis of the decisions made by Ontario courts regarding the compensation of class counsel. The authors aim to provide an analytical tool that can be used as a guide for predicting and determining fee approvals in the future. The authors make the analysis more concrete by applying their empirical methodology to five currently ongoing class actions.
