The State of Credit Union Governance 2020: Credit Union Governance and Leadership Trends

Abstract

This report addresses strengths and weaknesses—and provides recommendations—in the following five key areas of credit union governance: 1) board structure and composition, 2) board governance, 3) board leadership, 4) strategy and 5) decision-making. Our findings and recommendations are based on trends from a survey of credit union leaders in the United States.
